Christmas Lunch

Thursday was the day for our whole school Christmas lunch.

As always, the children were asked to make a hat for the festive celebrations. Each and every year they get more and more elaborate and some were bigger than ever!

It really did add to the occasion and gave the hall a real festive feel. A big thank you to all the parents who helped make such wonderful Christmas hats.

Georgina and her team in the kitchen did an absolutely fabulous job, making a full Christmas turkey dinner for just over 150 pupils and 26 adults. And here I am stressing making Christmas dinner for just 8! I will be speaking with her for some top tips.

At Farndon, we are always striving to provide nutricious, healthy and tasty hot dinners for our pupils and our Christmas lunch was no exception. A big thank you to the whole of the kitchen team; whose Christmas present has come early as they will finally be getting a dishwasher before we break up!
