Maths
Year 6 pupils will take SATs tests in May 2020. We have attached various examples of past papers for those pupils who want to do that little bit of extra revision or practise. We have chosen papers that will not be completed in class and you can also find the mark scheme to help check your answers.
Changes to SATs pre 2016
Children will now sit three maths tests: an arithmetic paper and two reasoning papers where children will be asked to apply their maths skills to problem solving. Paper A (arithmetic) lasts 30mins and concentrates on number skills, papers B and C (the application of maths skills) each last 40 mins. There will be no mental arithmetic test.
There are no past papers for these tests but a number of previous old style papers can be downloaded below. These will still support your child's preparation for the tests.
