Year 3 and 4 Stay top

The Year 3 and 4 football team had their fourth league match - this time against Delamere.

For the second time running they went a goal behind early but showed great character to get themselves back in the game. A great corner from Cameron and Travis struck a low shot to make it 1 - 1 at half time.

At the start of the second half, Fardnon began to dominate and quickly raced into a 4 - 1 lead thanks to more goals from Travis (yet another hat trick!) and a great solo goal from Cameron. Harry Nove put the icing on the cake, finishing a lovely move with good work from Daniel on the right.

Our returning captain, Henry, had a man of the match performance and was rock solid in the heart of the defence. He and Zac did a great job against several counter attacks from a good Delamere team. Just a couple of tricky away fixtures now so fingers crossed we finish as strongly as we have started.
