Year 3 and 4 Football

We sent two teams to the Lower Junior football tournament and both our teams gave it their all!

One of our teams had a tough group. They started with a 1 - 1 draw with Clutton. In the next three games Tom H and Harry N chipped in with goals but we were narrowly beaten by Tilston, Malpas and Shocklach.

Our other team won their first match against Bickerton with 2 goals from Cameron. The second game was a tight affair agaisnt Tattenhall. Travis put us into an early lead, but Tattenhall dominated and it ended 1 -1. The final game against Tushingham was a 5 - 0 win and a debut goal from Oliver CB. This put us through to a semi-final agianst Malpas. It was a tight game, but a last minute Travis goal put us into the final!

It was Tattenhall again. Alex in goal was in inspired form with some top class saves. We had chances but couldn't take any. It ended 1 - 0 and runners up this time.

Players of the tournament were Harry N for the gold team and Alex W for the Whites. Well done to everyone for all of their efforts.
