Year 2 Football Tournament

On Thursday, we took two Year 2 teams to the Broxton tournament. 

Mr Walker was with the Farndon Whites. They started by beating Shocklach 3 -0. Then against Tattenhall, Harry G played a gorgeous through ball for Lucas to score in a 1 - 0 win. Goaless draws with Farndon Golds and Malpas followed 2 - 1 victory against Tattenhall B and a 5 - 0 thrashing of Shcoklach B. 

Miss Brown managed the Farndon Golds. They won 4 and drew 2 and didn't concede a single goal! Ethan was inspired throughout the whole tournament. He scored 10 goals and this proved crucial. Farndon Whites and Farndon Golds both finished on 26 points. But the Golds won on goal difference. 

A first and second place finish for our Farndon teams. Well done to everyone who played. They were all fantastic and be so proud of themselves.
