Year 2 Bog Babies

Year 2 have been thoroughly enjoying their work on the Bog Baby, after "finding" the book in the pond area. Using the "book as the hook" the children have been studying the book in their Literacy and have written non chronological reports about a Bog Baby, instructions on how to make one and diary entries and letters.

On Friday, the children designed their own Bog Baby and began to make one out of materials and felt. A big thank you to all the parents who helped on Friday. Before placing the heart inside their Bog Baby, the children gave it the kiss of life.
