Tennis Champions

On Thursday night, 4 children from Years 3 and 4 took part in a tennis tournament against other schools in the local area. To help prepare our squad, we are extremely grateful to Mr Ames who kindly gave up his time to come and coach the children in mornings before school started.

We entered two mixed double teams: Harryand Halle played together for Year 4 and Todd and Annabel partnered each other in Year 3. The children performed so well and were a real credit to the school. Amazingly, both of our pairs won all 6 of their games!!! Over the competition they amassed an incredible 147 points!!!

Therefore, quite convincingly, Team Farndon can add a Tennis trophy, next to the Football and Handball ones we have already won this year.
