Parish Council Meeting

As you are all aware, we recently held a general election with the whole school. After a tight election, the Tomorrow Party won the most seats and Grace in Year 5 is their party leader. 

On Thursday, Grace, along with her running mates Emma, Harry and Halle, met with the Chair of Governors for our school and several members of the Parish Council. 

The Council members were most impressed with their work so far and how confident they were when delivering their manifesto and debating the various issues. 

The Council members were keen for this to be a regular thing and have invited them to atttend a meeting on the 10th June where they will be discussing the future of the Sports and Social Club. They already have some exciting ideas going forward and one of them is movie nights that may well be something that is condsidered in the future. 

At school we are really excitied that our pupils will have a real voice in matters within the community and we look forward to seeing their impact in the future.
