Netball Champions

It was the turn of our netball team to face all the other schools in the local area. Pressure was on as they were looking to retain their trophy from last year. Hopes were high as they have had a strong season so far, winning most of their league maatches. 

Well they certainly lived up to their favourites tag. They were immense and never looked like losing a game. Cady and Amber put in great performances, taking most of their chances under the posts. And Charlotte pulled the strings in the centre of the court. 

They won their first match against Bickerton 4 - 1. That would be the only point they would concede! They then went on to beat Shocklach 3 - 0, Tattenhall 2- 0 and Tushingham 7 - 0. In their final match, they put the icing on the cake by beating Tilston 4 - 0, meaning they won the tournament without losing a match. 

Well done to all the girls who have worked so hard throughout the year, training in all weathers and some times as it was going dark! Player of the tournament was Charlotte from Year 6, but everyone played incredibly well.
