Gifted and Talented Computing Day

On Saturday, some of our Year 3 and 4 pupils were given the opportunity to participate in a day workshop, Legotastic, using computer software to control lego models they had made.

The children thoroughly enjoyed making their Lego models based around the characters in certain stories. Once their model was made, they then used computer software to make their models actually move.

Having spoken to the children on their return to school, it was clear they had a fantastic day and we are looking to organise similar events throughout the next academic year. Roxie very kindly wrote a piece for our school blog that can be found on the Year 3 blog page.
