Football Match

The pressure was on and the situation was simple. Win and draw our last 2 matches and we win the league.

The game started badly with Hoole getting a lucky goal in the first few seconds. We kept our heads and Todd floated in a lovely corner and Daniel rose at the back post to equalise. However, just seconds later Hoole scored again. With half time fast approaching, the ball bounced clear to Cameron and he struck a shot that looped over their keeper to make it 2 - 2.

Farndon dominated the second half but we couldn't apply that finishing touch. With just a minute left, Todd raced clear, rounded the keeper and scored. A 3 - 2 victory.

Todd gave a captain's performance and his late goal earnt him man of the match. Just one game away from winning the league.
