Cross Country

Our first sporting event of the year was the Broxton cross country. We have traditionally done well in this event, winning it for the last 4 years. 

Mr Bond took another strong team with over 30 pupils. All the children performed extremely well in testing conditions. Several of our pupils led from the front.

In Year 1 Oliver came second. In Year 2 Jamie came first and Harriet was the first of the girls. In Year 3, Josh also won his race. James in Year 4 came a close second. Finally, in Year 5 and 6, Amber came second in the girl's race and in the boy's race, Zac won by a distance followed by Dan in second place.  .

With so many high finishers in each year group we won the competition overall. A big well done to everyone. That is now 5 years in a row.
