A footballing triumph

The matches are coming thick and fast this term. This time it was Delamere academy in the league. Conditions were tricky as the pitch was rather water logged and seriously muddy! But this didn't put the children off and they were determined to still try and play their passing game.

The fist half was intially tense, with Delamere missing a golden opportunity to take the lead, but 2 goals from Jack M meant we went to half time with a 2 - 0 lead. One of his goals was a cracker - a scissor kick on the volley into the top right corner; Ronaldo would have been proud it!

The team were full of confidence and in minutes after the restart we found ourselves 4 - 0 up. Jack M was certainly on top form. He had scored all 4 goals and then added a fifth. And there was still time for Jack to swing in a wicked corner and Tommy got on the end of it with a great header into the top corner.

Final score 6 - 0. Incredibly in the muddy conditions our Goalkeeper walked of the pitch looking spotless! But there were moments when Jack made some crucial saves so not to allow Delamere back into the game. Next up is Tattenhall! Farndon remain unbeaten in 2 years - long may the run continue.
