Year 2 Topic Work

Since finishing their SATs, the Year 2 pupils have thrown themselves into their Pirates topic. 

The children created their own porthole using a variety of art techniques. They then described all the things they could see through their window in their literacy work. 

The children have also enjoyed listening to the story 'Bog Baby' and have completed a number of written tasks based on this text. The children  all designed their own very Bog Baby.  The Year 2 Classroom was then transformed into a 'Build a Bog Baby Factory' where the children cut out felt, perfected their sewing skills and added a heart to their Bog Baby.  

Now they are currently making pirate scarecrows for their class garden.
