Farndon Enjoy the Basketball

Year 5 and 6 children have had the opportunity to work with players from the Cheshire Phoenix Basketball Team. Players and coaches came into school one afternoon to work with the children on healthy living and obviously played some basketball. On top of this, children in Year 5 and 6 also had the opportunity to take part in 3 sessions after school with the coaches from the team. This is to prepare the children for a tournament to be played on the court at Cheshire Phoenix - and if they do well, they will get to play on the court at half time in front of a packed crowd! Some children took advantage of the free tickets offered and watched one of their games to prepare themselves the big match.
